Linda D. Barber Award for Best Postdoctoral Publication
The Linda D. Barber Award for the Best Postdoctoral Publication was
established at the 1995 annual meeting as The Linda D. Barber Award for the
Best Research Associate Publication, to honor Linda for her years of dedication
to the NASA Space Biology Research Associates Program. At the 1995 meeting, she
was given a special award from ASGSB to honor her outstanding contributions and
dedication to this program. Her personal interest and emotional support for all
the Program participants nurtured the comradeship that existed within the
Program. Linda served from 1980, the beginning of the Program, until 1995,
as Administrative Research Assistant. The program has since been cancelled.
